Brian Johnson is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Fransisco 49ers (formerly offensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens). As Co-founder and Head Coach Johnson oversees camp workouts and training exercises as well as being a motivating mentor to camp participants.
One of his favorite quotes that he shares with campers is from Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.The Tallahassee native was awarded a full athletic scholarship to attend Louisiana State University, where he was a key offensive player and helped the Tigers win the 2003 BCS National Championship. Johnson was also a second-team All-SEC pick in 2006. During the 2006 season, Johnson started in 11 games and had 70 knockdown blocks and 20 pancake blocks. Of the 44 games in his career he was fortunate to start 28 of the games at right guard, right tackle and left guard and played a total of 1,868 snaps from scrimmage during his career.
While at LSU, Johnson majored in communications with minor disciplines in kinesiology and African-American studies. He was named to the Associated Press 2nd Team All-SEC Offensive Lineman in 2007 and received the 2006 Eric Andolsek Leadership Award for his outstanding sportsmanship and leadership capabilities during the 2006 Spring Scrimmage. In 2007, he was signed to the Arizona Cardinals and went on to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Ravens. Johnson is currently the Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at a D1 Collegiate School.
