Practicing with the Pros (PWTPros) was founded in 2009 and incorporated September 9, 2011. It was a vision for child hood friends Nevin McCaskill and Brian Johnson which came to fruition with the help of their now Executive Director Ashley Patterson. Patterson and McCaskill both graduates of Hampton University and LSU alum Brian Johnson strive for excellence in all they do with a mission to positively impact today’s youth by providing them with skills today to become leaders and visionaries of tomorrow.
The first PWTPros camp was held on Hilton Head Island, SC during the summer of 2009 and has now grown to 7 camps held throughout 5 cities along the east coast.
Practicing With the Pros, Inc. is an experience that will last a life time. Using seasoned athletes who have played in or coached the game at the highest levels. We do more than let the kids “run races”, PWTPros brings learning and competitiveness to a camp like no other combining College and NFL Combine based drills and testing.
Each camp is instructed thoroughly by Head Coaches Brian Johnson (Formerly of the Baltimore Ravens, currently a Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Head Coach) and Nevin McCaskill Offensive Lineman for the Washington Redskins.
We believe in character, responsibility, accountability, hard work and commitment. These are the standards to which we hold our coaches and what we hope to instill in each of our campers. PWTPros is an organization which finds it necessary to give back to our local communities and partners who help make our camps possible. Partial proceeds of the 2012 camps will be donated to the the Florida Athletic Coaches Association.
